We have a small selection of antique cast iron air return registers/grilles, which are sold as-is or refinished (sandblasted and powder-coated). There are numerous patterns and sizes for both supply and return ducts, most of which are rectangular. These can be used in old or new homes, but require additional planning (ideally included in HVAC plans and prior to having flooring installed), as they are not sized to contemporary dimensions.
Our antique register selection is constantly changing so please contact us if you are looking for a specific size or style. The images shown are samples of registers we have, or have had, and should be used for reference purposes only. Please note that these are sized by the duct-boot/hole dimensions, not the overall dimensions (which are typically 2" larger to accommodate for an approximate 1" wide border/surround).
These range in price from $250 - $500+ depending on the size, style, and finish and are typically in a 3:2 or 4:3 size ratio.
